Of all the Jaxes that ever existed, and Jax was unsure how many there might be, Jax thought she was a pretty unusual Jax. . .
This is a story of a little magical girl with flowers in her hair, saggy-baggy jeans hanging on her tiny waist, and candy apple stains on her shirt. It is a story of a child who helps little girls of every age to find their hearts and believe in the miracles they create themselves.
It is a tale of a single Jax and how she learned that the magic she creates is due to one thing:
Love born of the illusive “Silvers”… oh, and, of course, sidewalk chalk, candy apples, saggy baggy jeans, dreams and hope.
Jax has no real beginning and no end. She will always be remembered, but only if you keep playing hopscotch, embracing the love of all who surround you, and never ever stop moving. Hopscotch never ends. Neither does Jax.

DETAILS OF THE JAX SERIES—
A parallel and continuation of the “Consequence of Love Series”
Jax lives in the old apple tree in Angela’s back yard. Angela and Julie, a pair of college students, find themselves suddenly given the task of being surrogate mothers to a girl so different that she could only have come from the immortal masters, Between Keeper Jhemeklha and Moon Keeper Jake. Jax’s beginning is far simpler than that. She was born of prayers from the tiniest of the fay clans, Harmony. As Harmony’s request was heard by the sparkling fingerlings in the magical waters of the Selway River, a playmate and comrade appeared to repair the disastrous mistakes of the adults in the immortal and fay/faery clans.
Along with her best buddy, Harmony, Jax helps the little girls in her neighborhood find their hearts and the courage that lies naturally within. She then moves them into an adventure beyond the dreams of the fay and immortal masters of Harmony’s world.
A household of four young college women play host to a family of little girls on their way to greatness. You will meet little girls like Monica, Sarah, Scientist Janis, and especially, Jillian-Anne MacDuff. Hopscotch, candy apples and baseball turn into a path that stuns all. Immortals and Fays, such as Consequence, Lady Takiko, Hope and the ever out-of- control twins, Lavender and Orchid, will take Jax on a journey that only a child could dream and no adult could conjure.
Such is the life of Jax and her many helpers in a series of stories and novels where the children become the directors of success and the leaders of a failed adult world.
For late teens and adults, the series begins with the “Consequences of Love” Novellas. The follow up and first novel is “Consequences of a Jax”. This first full novel is written for ten year olds and up. I stress AND UP. Although the first ten chapters seem to place “Consequences of a Jax” in a category for juvenile readers, once you find yourself halfway through, you will realize it’s connect with the “Consequences of Love” series of Novellas. You see life directly through the eyes of a child and watch as she wakes up to the injuries of a world vexed by the minds of those who forgot how to be innocent.
