great story line and characters-- terrible, if any, editing

This was a terrific story, with wonderful character development. However, the editing was non- existent, with so many errors that it made the book difficult to hold my interest as much as it could have. A good editor would turn this from a two to a five star book. Hopefully, the author's next one will be properly edited and much more enjoyable. He really does have a gift for writing an engrossing and intriguing story. Good editing would change this from a draft to a completed novel.

Wonderful storyline, but was it even edited????

Truthfully, I did really enjoy this book. The storyline was extremely engaging. It left me anxiously awaiting the next book! However, the multitude of grammatical errors in this book made it very difficult to read. Grammatically it read like a first draft. Hopefully the sequel will be better edited, but I'll read it either way. Based on storyline alone, I'd give this book 5 stars. Grammatical readability is 1 star. Therefore, I'm giving it a 3.

The story is engaging but the large amount of typos, missing words and some grammar issues are a bit distracting.
