Another great way to add yoga to your day

NOTE - I picked up both this book, and the companion volume "Good Day Yoga". As my opinions pretty much apply to both books (the only difference being that one is geared for the AM and one for the PM), I'm going to be leaving the same review for both editions.
That said, I'm giving this book a solid two thumbs up.
I've been involved in the fitness industry in some fashion for 20+ years. In that time, I've trained athletes, pro fighters, military and law enforcement, and plenty of just "regular folks". I've seen, done, and learned about it all as it relates to sport performance, bodybuilding, losing weight, or just keeping up basic fitness levels.
The one thing I wasn't ever very well-versed on was yoga.
The main problem I've had over the years is that most times I've tried to delve into the world of different types of yoga, either it ended up becoming too immersed into the spiritual side (which is great for some people, but I need information I know I can apply to the masses...and I apply own personal spiritual growth in other ways), or it used yoga as a complete exercise system. Now while I know the benefits of yoga for flexibility, tension reduction, relaxation, flow, and more, I've never been a believer that it's all a person needs in order to build sufficient levels of strength or cardio, let alone explosiveness, work capacity, or other physical measures.
What I've looked for for quite a while has been basic information on yoga and flows/routines that could be added to any one of a variety of different workouts, programs, or simply just lifestyles - depending on the person and their goal. (Both for myself and for the people I help.)
That's what "Good Night Yoga" gives you - 3 simple and easy to follow yoga programs that anybody can implement right away. They're clearly explained, not overly complicated, and can be started by anybody literally today.
The short FAQ at the end of the book also answers a variety of commonly asked yoga questions. Again - in a simple way that anyone can understand and relate to.
All in all - pick this up and implement the routines, and you should see results fairly quickly.

Get Some ZZZZZZZZZZZs

This is an excellent book with some great yoga sessions that will help you sleep better. You can pick the routine that would suit you better. There are even some yoga exercises that you can do in bed!
If you've hesitated to try yoga, this book is the perfect book to get started with - even if you don't suffer from insomnia. The photos and instructions will make it easy for you to follow along.
I was happy to see a section at the beginning about sleep and stress and how hidden stress can have a huge effect on the quality of our sleep.
Now I plan to check out the companion book Good Day Yoga.

Great for bedtime!

I like this book a lot! I like the pictures and easy to read instructions! It makes a beginner like me know exactly what I am supposed to be doing which is even more relaxing. The poses I have been doing are not difficult or too much of a stretch, but nice and calming. I have been sleeping deeper (my fitness tracker has even told me so) since starting this pre-bedtime routine! I would definitely recommend this book to other yoga newbies and those that need a little extra relaxation before bedtime. It makes me feel like I could try regular yoga sometime or even hot yoga for fitness once I have mastered a few more poses!
